Grove, House Republicans to Unveil Bills to Make the Unemployment Compensation Fund Solvent, Cut Taxes on Workers

WHAT: Rep. Seth Grove, Republican chairman of the House Labor and Industry Committee, will host a press conference to lay out a plan to make Pennsylvania’s Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund solvent again, which would lead to tax cuts for workers and employers and bring stability to the fund.
WHO: Grove will be joined by Reps. Barb Gleim (R-Cumberland) and Aaron Bernstine (R-Butler/Lawrence); Greg Moreland, Pennsylvania state director of the National Federation of Independent Businesses; and Alex Halper, senior vice president of government affairs with the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry.
