HARRISBURG – The York County Republican delegation to the Pennsylvania General Assembly is proud to announce grant funding of nearly $8 million for projects in York County.
The delegation consists of Sens. Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) and Mike Regan R-York/Cumberland), and Reps. Seth Grove (R-Dover), Kate Klunk (R-Hanover), Dawn Keefer (R-Dillsburg), Mike Jones (R-York Township), Joe D’Orsie (R-Manchester) and Wendy Fink (R-Red Lion).
The funding was approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA). CFA is an independent agency that holds fiduciary responsibility over the funding of programs and investments in Pennsylvania’s economic growth.
“These projects vary greatly but all will improve the lives of York Countians,” the delegation said. “We are glad the CFA recognized the importance of these projects and what they mean to the residents of the county.”
The projects are:

Colonial Park Sewer System extension project in Dallastown: $1 million.
•
Hanover Trolley Trail expansion project in Jackson Township: $1 million.
•
Waterline replacement project in Glen Rock: $981,000.
•
Leg Up Farm in East Manchester Township for an energy efficiency and reliability project: $749,700.
•
Wastewater interceptor project in Jackson Township: $731,136.
•
Stormwater improvements in Delta: $608,875.
•
The Susquehanna Discovery Center in Wrightsville: $500,000.
•
Training equipment, an automatic license plate reader and patrol vehicles in Newberry Township: $250,000.
•
Improvements to the wastewater treatment plant in Codorus Township: $242,455.
•
Walnut Lane restoration in Lewisberry: $240,294.
•
Franklintown to locate an alternative water source: $187,316.
•
Project to close an effluent line in East Manchester Township: $160,000.
•
A telecommunications project in Hellam Township: $80,487.
•
Rathton Road Bridge replacement project in Spring Garden Township: $500,000.
•
York Railway Co. in York City for rail-truck transload improvements: $500,000.
