Grove Issues Statement of Court’s Mail-In Voting Ruling
August 2, 2022
HARRISBURG -- In response to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s ruling regarding mail-in voting, Rep. Seth Grove (R-York), chairman of the House State Government Committee, issued the following statement:
“The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling on the constitutionality of Act 77 of 2019 should not come as a surprise to anyone who has watched this court over the past few years. This is the same court that selected a congressional redistricting map drawn by a California professor who never stepped foot in Pennsylvania and was paid for by a national Democratic party dark money group.
“While some may celebrate this ruling and others denounce it, the reality is we still have election laws and processes that are failing our voters and election administrators. Until we update our voting laws, Pennsylvania will continue to have chaos in our elections.”
