Grove to Host Veterans Assistance, Concealed Carry Seminar
YORK – Rep. Seth Grove (R-York) today issued a reminder about two upcoming events in the 196th Legislative District.

Assistance for veterans is available on the first Thursday of each month. The outreach services are held in conjunction with Terry Gendron of the American Legion and will be available on Thursday, April 9. Services offered including compensation and pension claims, education benefits, enrollment in the V.A. health care system, burial and survivor benefits, state benefits and obtaining military personnel and medical records. Assistance will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Grove’s office, located at 1954 Carlisle Road in York.

An appointment is necessary to receive assistance. To reserve a spot, call Grove’s office at (717) 767-3947.

In addition, Grove is joining with Reps. Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York Township) and Kate Klunk (R-Hanover) in hosting a concealed carry seminar from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 2, at the Jefferson Fire Hall, located at 31 Berlin St., in Codorus.

“This is a great way for people in York County to learn more about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws,” Grove said. “We have a great line-up of speakers and members of our staffs will be on hand to answer questions.”

Attorney Matt Menges will join Grove to discuss Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws. In addition, an officer from the Southwestern Regional Police Department will discuss how to safely interact with the police when carrying a concealed weapon.

Space is limited, so interested individuals should RSVP as soon as possible by calling Grove’s district office at (717) 767-3947.
