Development to Bring New Jobs to West Manchester Township, Grove Says
HARRISBURG – Rep. Seth Grove (R-York), along with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), today announced that a new Target Corporation fulfillment center in West Manchester Township will result in the creation of more than 250 new jobs in York County.

Target will invest nearly $52 million into the new distribution center, leasing an existing 625,000-square-foot facility for the project. The jobs will be created over a period of three years.

“This announcement shows the great strides that York County and the Commonwealth have made over the past several years,” Grove said. “I am excited to see these new jobs come to our area and I commend DCED for its hard work on this project.”

Target’s funding proposal from DCED includes more than $500,000 in job creation tax credits and more than $100,000 in Guaranteed Free Training which will be used to train new workers.
