Bridge to be Dedicated in Honor of Specialist Cameron Stambaugh, Grove Says

WHAT: Rep. Seth Grove (R-York) will participate in a dedication ceremony near the Route 116 bridge in Spring Grove in honor of Specialist Cameron Stambaugh. Stambaugh died in Afghanistan on July 8, 2012, when an improvised explosive device struck the vehicle in which he was riding. Grove authored House Bill 1431, which officially designates the bridge as the SPC Cameron J. Stambaugh Memorial Bridge. The bill was signed into law on May 14.

WHO: Grove, Spring Grove Mayor Delores Aumen, friends and family of SPC Cameron Stambaugh.

WHEN: Tuesday, July 8, at 9 a.m.

WHERE: Route 116 bridge, located in Spring Grove adjacent to the Glatfelter paper mill.
