Hearing Scheduled on Grove’s School Bus Camera Legislation
WHAT: The House Transportation Subcommittee on Public Safety will conduct a hearing on House Bill 1580. The bill, authored by Rep. Seth Grove (R-York), would allow for the placement of cameras on school buses, in order to capture evidence of motorists passing buses illegally. The legislation also includes a tiered penalty system for violators.

WHO: Grove, members of the House Transportation Subcommittee on Public Safety, Pennsylvania School Bus Association, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) officials and other stakeholders.
