Grove to Host Small Business Seminar for Small Business Owners and Anyone with Questions about Starting a Business
10/11/2011
DOVER – Rep. Seth Grove (R-Dover) is inviting entrepreneurs and anyone who currently operates or is considering opening a small business to a Small Business Seminar he is hosting on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m.

“Weak economies are often the times that spur the most innovation,” said Grove. “Many people who have been unemployed and unable to find a job consider starting their own enterprise. This seminar will help those individuals contemplating opening shop, those who have recently established a business and anyone looking for tips to run their existing business more effectively. My goal is to provide these individuals with the tools they need to succeed.”

The seminar will take place at the Dover Intermediate School, located at 4500 Intermediate Ave. in Dover.

Featured speakers will include representatives from:

        • The Department of Community and Economic Development
        • The Department of Labor and Industry
        • The Department of General Services
        • Shippensburg University Small Business Development Center

“Small businesses drive our economy, and their success is important to the recovery of our financial markets,” said Grove. “A handful of small businesses have the potential to turn around the prosperity of a community.”

Advanced registration is requested by Thursday, Oct. 13, by emailing sbush@pahousegop.com or calling (717) 767-3947.
