House State Government Committee Review Money-Saving Initiatives, Record Retention Bills

WHAT: The House State Government Committee will convene to review and vote on several bills which aim to retain COVID-19 data and save taxpayers money. The committee will take up the following bills:
• House Bill 854: Would require the state to retain COVID-19-related records for a period of 10 years.
• House Bill 120: Would establish the Keystone Solvency Operating Study Commission and provides for its powers and duties and for a report.
• House Bill 39: Would direct the governor’s Office of the Budget to expand Recovery Audits Contracts to any program within state government which expends over $50 million.
WHO: Chairman Seth Grove (R-Dover) will be joined by members of the committee.
WHEN: Wednesday, March 24, at 8 a.m.
