Legal Challenges to Federal Healthcare

The federal law passed in 2009 to impose health care changes on every American is facing challenges both in federal court and in Congress.  Pennsylvania has joined a multi-state legal challenge led by Florida, and all of our Republican congressmen voted to repeal the law when it came before the federal House of Representatives in January.  That measure passed by a vote of 245-189 and will now go the United States Senate for consideration.

This law will have a far-reaching effect on the budgets of states and on the wallets of every American.  As the debate about health care continues, I want to help you to stay informed about what is happening and how this will impact you as a citizen of Pennsylvania and as an individual.
